Events at the House of Parliament

The Office of the National Assembly focuses in particular on familiarising citizens, especially secondary school children, with the work done here through various events and programmes. Information can also be found on our website on youth programmes and other programmes held in the building that demonstrate the operation of the National Assembly.

Summer concerts on Kossuth Square

Free open-air summer concerts are organized by the Office of the Hungarian National Assembly. These free musical performances are open to the public and take place on Kossuth Lajos Square, in front of the main entrance. During the concert series local Hungarian bands give various musical performances, such as acapella, string quartet, jazz, big band, opera, Hungarian folk music, brass quartet. The concerts are from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM each Thursday in June, July, August, and September, with a rain date of the following Saturday.
